Codex can connect directly to your Flax website without waiting for a public Plugins Directory listing.
OpenAI currently offers Codex with Go and, for a limited time, Free. Other paid plans also include Codex. Usage limits vary by plan.
This setup uses Codex from the command line. If Codex is not installed, follow OpenAI’s Codex setup guide first. Then open Terminal on Mac or PowerShell on Windows.
Copy the first command from this guide and press Enter. It adds Flax to Codex. Copy the second command and press Enter. Codex opens a browser so you can sign in to Flax.
Choose the website you want to connect, approve access, then return to the command line. Use the last command to check that Flax appears in the connection list.
Start a new Codex task and ask for a website review. For example: “Please review my website and suggest three improvements. Don’t make or publish any changes yet.”

Which plan do I need?
OpenAI currently offers Codex with Free for a limited time and includes it with Go and other paid plans. Plan limits and availability can change. This Flax connection is made directly from Codex, so it does not use ChatGPT Developer Mode or require a Flax public-directory listing.
If Codex cannot find the Flax connection, close and reopen Codex after setup, then start a new task. For help, see the Flax agent guide.
