Organize your product list around how people shop
A shop usually needs a clear Products page, meaningful categories, and a page for each enabled product. Flax builds product page addresses from the Products section label and product title. Category pages use the category name. If two products have the same title, Flax adds the product code or ID to distinguish the page address.
Choose short, recognizable section and category names. Give each product a specific title that names what it is, then add a useful description, images, and any extra details customers need. Think about the words customers use to find the item and include them naturally in its name, category, and description. The product title also contributes to its page address. Avoid repeating generic copy or adding search phrases that do not describe the item.

Make category and product pages distinct
A category page should help someone compare the items in that group. An individual product page should answer questions about that item, such as what it is, who it is for, what is included, available options, and current price or availability where those details apply. Use the page settings to review titles and descriptions for important category and product page addresses.
Flax adds product structured data to pages using supported details such as the name, description, category, image, price, and offer. Add the brand and product identifiers, such as a barcode number, when they apply; the Sales channels screen flags missing information. Accurate visible content is still essential. Google decides whether to show extra product details in search results. See Google’s guide to product details in search results.

Share your products on shopping platforms
Flax can create a product file for Google Shopping, Microsoft Shopping, Meta and Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok. In Products → Sales channels, turn on the platforms you want, check for missing product details, publish your site, and copy the link to the file. The link is available when your site is public and your products meet the platform requirements. Products that only let customers request a quote are not eligible.
Flax updates the product file when you publish your site. Add its link to each shopping platform account, complete that platform’s business, shipping, and policy setup, and fix any issues it reports. Sending your product information does not guarantee that a platform accepts or shows your products.
For Google Shopping, Flax shows the product file link in the Sales channels tab. Add it in Google Merchant Center as a scheduled product file, then check for missing details and approval updates. Open Google Merchant Center. Read Google’s instructions for adding products from a file and its list of required product details.
