Introduction

Menu content can contain multiple sections, items, variants, and categories. Enabled state, category grouping, prices, and item order determine how customers scan and choose.

Use Cases

  • Show dishes, drinks, or other menu items with descriptions and prices so customers can decide what to order.
  • Group a long menu into categories and show choices such as size, spice level, or add-ons when customers need them.

Supported fields

Basics

Section label
Optional. A short label that can appear above or beside the menu heading. It is often decorative, but it can also carry a proof point, qualifier, or small trust signal.
Title
Recommended. The main heading for the menu section. It tells visitors what this part of the page is about before they scan the items underneath.
Intro
Optional. Supporting text for the menu heading. It gives context before visitors reach the cards, list, gallery, or form below.
Icon
Optional. An icon for menu templates that include a small visual marker. It can help establish the section theme without requiring a full image.

Items

Required for each menu item. The public name of the dish, drink, package, treatment, class, or menu entry.
Description
Optional per menu item. Short supporting copy for ingredients, preparation, flavor, portion, restrictions, or what is included.
Images
Multiple images per item. Images make visual menu layouts useful and help high-value items stand out.
Icon
Optional per item. A compact visual marker for menu layouts that support icons.
Price

Variant pricing
Optional; one price per valid option combination. Sets prices for menu item options. Public menu layouts can show option-specific prices instead of one base price.
