Introduction
The Header is the first thing many visitors see. Use it to explain what your business does and guide people toward a useful next step.
Use Cases
- Make a strong first impression with a clear headline and an image or video that fits your business.
- Sum up what you offer and who it is for so visitors quickly understand whether they are in the right place.
- Add a clear button for a next step, such as calling, booking, browsing services, or contacting you.
- Build trust near the top of the page with a proof point, such as years of experience, a qualification, or a customer result.
- Choose a Header template with a contact form when visitors should be able to send a non-urgent inquiry without leaving the page.
Supported fields
Basics
- Section label
- Optional. A short line above the main heading. In a header, this works best as a trust signal, location cue, campaign label, or positioning phrase.
- Heading
- Recommended. The main hero statement. This is usually the first substantial copy on the homepage and often sets the tone for the whole site.
- Intro
- Optional. Supporting copy below the heading. It gives visitors the detail they need before deciding whether to scroll, book, call, browse services, or keep reading.
Media
- Images
- Multiple. Hero images for the top of the site. Depending on the template, they may appear as a background, a split image, a collage, a carousel-style layout, or supporting visual beside the copy.
- Mobile image
- Optional per image. A mobile-specific version of a hero image. It lets the site use a better crop or simpler composition on narrow screens.
- Image focus
- Optional per image. The focus point tells templates which part of the image should stay visible when the layout crops it.
- Video URL
- Optional. A video source for header templates that support motion. It can make the first viewport feel more alive, but it also competes with the heading for attention.
Settings
- Enabled
- One on/off setting. Controls whether the header section is rendered on the published site.
- Show on homepage
- One on/off setting. Controls whether header appears on the homepage. Some content can still be used by detail pages, forms, checkout, bookings, or generated pages even when the homepage block is hidden.
- Display name
- Optional. The label used when the header section needs a short name outside its full heading.
