Introduction
One set of services per site, with multiple services and optional categories. Service names, pricing, booking settings, and detail content affect service pages, booking flows, local pages, and search data.
Use Cases
- Help visitors compare what you offer, then book the service that fits their needs.
- Give complex or high-value services their own page with more detail, images, pricing, and booking options.
Prices
Add a base price and, if needed, a currency for each service. Mark it as a starting price when the final amount can vary; supported layouts label it “From”. Leave the price blank when customers need a quote.
Variants + prices
Use variants for customer choices such as package, size, or service level. Set a price for each combination you offer. Depending on the template, choices can appear as option chips or as a price table.
Bookable services and durations
Mark a service as bookable, then make sure booking is configured and an enabled provider or resource offers it. Add duration options to control the time reserved; each option can have its own price. Availability also follows the provider schedule and booking rules.
Detail pages
Add content blocks to an enabled service to give it its own public page. Service detail-page output is on by default and can be switched off in Settings. Use the page for useful depth—what is included, how the work goes, images, and a clear next step.
Categories
Group related services so visitors can scan a long list. Each service belongs to one category. Enabled categories can have their own pages, descriptions, images, and content, as well as organize services in layouts that support groups.
Bulk editing mode
In the Services section of the Content editor, use the grid icon to switch to Bulk edit. Update service names, categories, base prices, currencies, starting-price flags, and booking availability in one table. Undo and redo controls are available while bulk edit is open. Open an individual service for its variants or detail content.
Supported fields
Basics
- Section label
- Optional. A short label that can appear above or beside the services heading. It is often decorative, but it can also carry a proof point, qualifier, or small trust signal.
- Title
- Recommended. The main heading for the services section. It tells visitors what this part of the page is about before they scan the items underneath.
- Intro
- Optional. Supporting text for the services heading. It gives context before visitors reach the cards, list, gallery, or form below.
- Icon
- Optional. An icon for services templates that include a small visual marker. It can help establish the section theme without requiring a full image.
Services
- Name
- Required for each service. The public name of the service. It becomes the card title, detail-page title, navigation label, booking option label, form choice, and the readable name search engines receive for the item.
- Description
- Recommended for each service. A compact explanation of what the service includes. This is the quick-scan copy people see before deciding whether to open a detail page, book, or ask a question.
- Images
- Multiple images per service. Service images make service cards and image-led templates specific to the offer instead of relying on generic section imagery.
- Icon
- Optional per service. A small visual marker for compact service layouts where a full image would be too heavy.
- Category
- Optional; one category per service. Connects a service to a service category. Categories group services in layouts and can create their own category landing pages.
- Use product schema
- One on/off setting per service. Tells search engines to treat this item more like a product than a service. The public page can still sit in Services, but the search data changes.
- Price
- Optional per service. The base public price. It is displayed by templates that show prices and is also the fallback price for booking payments when no matching variant or duration price exists.
- Currency
- Optional per service; ISO currency code. The currency used with the service price. Public display resolves this into a local symbol when possible, using the business country as context.
- Starting price
- One on/off setting per service. Changes the meaning of the displayed price from fixed to "from". Search data also marks it as a starting price.
- Available for booking
- One on/off setting per service. Allows the service to appear in booking flows when an enabled provider or bookable resource can offer it.
- Duration
- Optional; multiple duration options for bookable services. Time options for a bookable service. Duration controls availability calculations and can also carry duration-specific pricing.
- Variants
- Optional; multiple variant types and options. Variants describe customer choices such as size, style, package, material, or add-ons. Public service templates show non-duration variants as option chips.
- Variant pricing
- Optional; one price per valid combination. Sets which variant combinations are available and what each combination costs. Booking payments use the matching combination price before falling back to the base price.
- Service type
- Usually generated or imported. A plain category phrase for the service, such as "massage", "consultation", "repair", or "installation". It gives generated copy and search data more context when the service name alone is not enough.
- Detail content
- Optional; multiple content blocks per service. Long-form page content for the service. Adding real content blocks is what turns a service from a card into a detail page.
- Service buttons
- Optional; usually one or two per service. Service-specific calls to action shown on service detail pages when configured.
- Enabled
- One on/off setting per service. Controls whether the service is visible in public service lists and related service experiences.
- Show on homepage
- One on/off setting per service. Controls whether the service appears in homepage service lists while still allowing the service to exist elsewhere.
- Payment sync IDs
- Managed automatically when payments are connected. Links a paid service to payment-provider products or prices after payment setup has synchronized.
Categories
- Name
- Required for each category. The public label for a group of services. It becomes the category heading, navigation group name, category page title, and category URL.
- Short description
- Optional per category. A compact summary for category cards and navigation previews. It is shown before the longer description when both are present.
- Description
- Optional per category. Longer category context for category pages. It can explain the difference between this category and nearby categories.
- Icon
- Optional per category. A visual marker for category tabs and category-led layouts.
- Images
- Multiple images per category. Category-level images give category pages a visual identity separate from individual service images.
- Content blocks
- Optional; multiple blocks per category. Long-form category-page content. Blocks can explain who the category is for, what is included, how to choose, and what results to expect.
- Page headings
- Optional heading overrides per category. Custom headings for the sections that appear on a category page, such as assigned services, other categories, and related reviews.
- Assigned services
- Multiple services can be assigned; one category per service. The services that belong to this category. Assignments determine what appears on the category page and how navigation groups services.
- Enabled
- One on/off setting per category. Controls whether the category appears publicly. Assigned services can remain enabled even when the category is hidden.
Settings
- Enabled
- One on/off setting. Controls whether the services section is rendered on the published site.
- Show on homepage
- One on/off setting. Controls whether services appears on the homepage. Some content can still be used by detail pages, forms, checkout, bookings, or generated pages even when the homepage block is hidden.
- Display name
- Optional. The label used when the services section needs a short name outside its full heading.
- Service detail pages
- Optional on/off output setting; on by default. Controls whether enabled services with detail content get their own public service page.
