Supported fields
Basics
- Section label
- Optional. A short label that can appear above or beside the reviews heading. It is often decorative, but it can also carry a proof point, qualifier, or small trust signal.
- Title
- Recommended. The main heading for the reviews section. It tells visitors what this part of the page is about before they scan the items underneath.
- Intro
- Optional. Supporting text for the reviews heading. It gives context before visitors reach the cards, list, gallery, or form below.
- Icon
- Optional. An icon for reviews templates that include a small visual marker. It can help establish the section theme without requiring a full image.
Reviews
- Reviews
- Multiple reviews per site. Each review is a customer quote or testimonial that can appear in review sections and related proof blocks.
- Reviewer name
- Recommended for each review. The public name shown with the quote. It gives the review an author and is used in card footers, profile layouts, quote layouts, and spotlight proof blocks.
- Headline
- Optional per review. A short summary line for the review. Some layouts show it as a headline; others use it as the secondary line under the reviewer name.
- Date
- Recommended for each review. The review date. It is used when layouts need recency context, and it becomes the fallback secondary text when no headline is set.
- Review text
- Required for useful review cards. The actual quote shown to visitors. Templates can truncate long reviews and expose "read more" behavior when the card layout needs to stay compact.
- Services reviewed
- Optional; multiple services per review. Connects a review to one or more services. Service-specific templates can use this to show proof beside the matching offer.
- Location
- Optional; one location or service area per review. Connects a review to a physical location or service area. Location-aware review templates filter by this value.
- Link
- Optional per review. A URL to the original review or supporting source. It can give visitors a way to verify the testimonial when the layout exposes source links.
- Source
- Optional per review. The platform or source for the review, such as Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, Yelp, Tripadvisor, or another source.
- Reviewer image
- Optional; one image per review. A photo or avatar shown with the reviewer. Profile-led review layouts rely on this more heavily than simple quote layouts.
- Before and after images
- Optional when present in review content. A pair of images that lets before/after review templates show a visual result beside the quote. The current Reviews editor does not expose these as normal fields, but review templates can use them when the content contains them.
- Language
- Usually managed by import or translation workflows. The language of the review text. It helps multilingual sites keep testimonial content aligned with the visitor language when reviews are imported or generated across locales.
Review scores
- Review score profiles
- Multiple score profiles per site. Each profile represents a review platform or public score source, such as Google, Facebook, Trustpilot, Yelp, or Tripadvisor.
- Review site
- One source per score profile. The source label and icon used for the score profile.
- Score
- Optional until shown; 0 to 5. The public rating value for the review profile. Scores above zero can appear in proof widgets when the profile is visible.
- Review count
- Optional per score profile. The number of reviews behind the score. When counts are present, aggregate score widgets weight each profile by its count.
- Review site link
- Optional per score profile. The public URL for the review profile. Source badges become clickable when this link is set.
- Show on site
- One on/off setting per score profile. Controls whether a score profile contributes to public review widgets and aggregate score displays.
- Connected state
- Managed state for future connected sources. Shows whether a score profile is manually entered or connected. The current Connect action is disabled, so manual values are the active source of truth today.
Settings
- Enabled
- One on/off setting. Controls whether the reviews section is rendered on the published site.
- Show on homepage
- One on/off setting. Controls whether reviews appears on the homepage. Some content can still be used by detail pages, forms, checkout, bookings, or generated pages even when the homepage block is hidden.
- Display name
- Optional. The label used when the reviews section needs a short name outside its full heading.
