For a new trance festival in Krabi, Thailand, the site needed to move fast: explain the event, connect Stripe, and turn early Instagram attention into ticket bookings without a long build cycle.

Brief description

Psywadee Krab went from festival idea to Stripe-connected ticket bookings in days.

A launch-ready event site for selling festival tickets

Psywadee Krab Festival needed a public site that could keep pace with promotion. Flax provided a focused event website with festival details, visual atmosphere, and Stripe-powered ticket booking, so the team could start sending Instagram visitors to a real checkout flow almost immediately.

Built quickly for a time-sensitive festival launch

Festival promotion does not wait for a long web project. The Psywadee Krab site was assembled around the essentials: the event story, location, ticket options, and a clear path from interest to booking.

Stripe connected for live ticket bookings

With Stripe connected, the site could accept paid ticket bookings directly. That meant Instagram promotion could point to one destination where visitors could learn about the festival and complete checkout in the same flow.

Door validation with Flax Scan

After checkout, customers receive their tickets by email with QR codes attached. At the venue, the Psywadee team can open Flax Scan, point the camera at the ticket QR code, and validate the booking at the door.

The scanner extracts the validation token from the QR code, calls the ticket validation API, and shows the result immediately: valid, already used, canceled, invalid, or failed. That gives staff a simple entry workflow without needing to search through orders manually.

Flax Scan also keeps a recent validation history and supports optional voice feedback for success, failure, and already-used tickets. For a busy festival entrance, that means the same online ticket flow continues into arrival and check-in.

In-store ticket and merchandise sales with Flax POS

Psywadee can also use Flax POS for on-site sales. Products can be synced into the POS catalog, including barcode fields, so staff can scan an item, type a barcode manually, or add products into a walk-up cart.

That makes the same Flax setup useful beyond advance ticketing. The festival team can sell door tickets, shirts, and other merchandise from a phone-friendly checkout interface, adjust quantities, clear the cart, and record the sale against the site.

The current POS flow creates in-store orders through the POS API, supports cash tendering with change due, and can capture optional delivery details when an item needs follow-up. It gives Psywadee one operational surface for online sales, door checks, and in-person purchases.
